US BioEnergy Janesville Water Treatment

As part of the original ethanol plant design, US BioEnergy (Guardian Energy) requested a separate water treatment process island for their facility in Janesville, MN.

We performed the civil and structural design for the water treatment facility. We were responsible for the design of the multi-story structural steel building, piping and electrical supports, tank and vessel foundations (sludge presses, sand filters, sludge clarifier, solids clarifier, lime silo, water storage tanks), cast in place concrete secondary containment for various chemicals, Chemical truck receiving and unloading.
