The Graduate School of Business at the University of Chicago was thoughtfully designed to complement the surrounding campus architecture. Larson Engineering’s Missouri office played a key role in this elegant addition by providing structural calculations for the steel connection design supporting the 37,500-square-foot Winter Garden. This striking 83-foot-tall steel structure features a skylight roof and glazed enclosure, serving as a central gathering space filled with natural light. Larson’s contribution helped harmonize architectural vision with structural integrity, shaping a space that celebrates openness, clarity, and thoughtful engineering.
