Condensate Tank Piping and Structural Design

Larson Engineering provided the detailed engineering and design for the complete replacement of a large condensate collection tank at a paper facility.   Larson was responsible for the process, mechanical, and structural design on this project; providing the condensate stress analysis calculations and general arrangement to provide new access to the top of the tank and optimized valve configuration.  Larson also provided process & instrument diagrams updates, the piping design, foundations, and steel design.  Larson utilized 3D Reality Capture to identify the existing environment and incorporate the new design into the existing facility.   For this project, Larson provided structural modification and upgrades to the adjacent idled building to provide access to the new tank.
