Westminster Presbyterian Church

This church expansion was a 40,000 square foot addition onto the historic Westminster Presbyterian Church in Minneapolis.  Larson Engineering was responsible for multiple parts of the exterior façade, including curtain wall, structural glass, and exterior metal panels.  Featuring large spans to allow plenty of light, some of the curtain wall used tinted window film to create a new age stained glass experience. Many of the 10,000 square feet of exterior panels were installed on a curved, cantilevered support structure requiring creative engineering solutions that resulted in an artistic and unique architectural feature.
