Platinum Ethanol Grain Storage

Platinum Ethanol upgraded their on-site corn storage and wet cake storage for their facility in Arthur, IA.  We performed the civil and structural design for a one-million-bushel corn storage bin, and expanded storage of their existing wet cake animal feed canopy.  We were responsible for the pile and pile cap foundation system for the bin and the reclaim tunnel, tower supports and retaining walls.  We also performed the structural steel design of the tower supports, conveyor bridges, and canopy.
