Marina Bay Sands is a world-renowned luxury resort in Singapore, composed of three 55-story towers crowned by the iconic Sands SkyPark—a dramatic structure that bridges all three towers, with a cantilevered section extending from the north tower. Each tower features a distinct architectural geometry, contributing to the landmark’s striking silhouette. Larson Engineering provided the structural engineering for the resort’s complex curtain wall systems. Our scope included, the sloping unitized curtain wall tailored to the towers’ unique geometries, the glass fins for enhanced transparency and structural support, and the steel tube and tension rod systems supporting the atrium curtain wall. This project demanded advanced modeling, coordination, and innovative engineering to meet both aesthetic and performance goals on one of the most architecturally ambitious buildings in the world.
