Grand Rapids Community College Skylight

The Secchia Piazza is located in Grand Rapids Community College’s Wisner-Bottrall Applied Technology Center. The Secchia Piazza project transformed an outdoor patio into an indoor multi-purpose space with several architectural features including the 31-foot sky cone.

Larson Engineering aided with the design of the colored laminated glass and painted aluminum panels. The design utilized aluminum steel reinforced aluminum members that were also engineered by Larson to support the glass panels.
